It’s been a while since we’ve first heard rumors of a possible Mario + Rabbids crossover for the Nintendo Switch, and Ubisoft has finally unveiled the upcoming title.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle has been a development for 3-years and it’s exclusive to Nintendo Switch. The story takes place when a mysterious vortex tears apart The Mushroom Kingdom, transporting the wild Rabbids characters into this once-peaceful world.
Our heroes, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi must team up with a whole new crew: four Rabbids heroes! Together, they will battle with weapons through four worlds filled with combat, puzzles, and unpredictable enemies.
Ubisoft has also announced a Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Collector’s Edition which includes a set of 12 collector cards, the game, the official soundtrack and a Rabbid Mario figurine, exclusively at GameStop for US residents.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will also be compatible with amiibo figures, as confirmed by the official Ubisoft Blog. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is launching on August 29th, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
