The EVO Super Smash Bros for Wii U Top 8 finals took place today at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Over 1,000 fighters across the world fought against each other to take the prize and become the EVO 2017 – Super Smash Bros for Wii U Champion.
New Jersey native and Bayonetta main, Saleem “Salem” Akiel Young and Chilean native and Diddy Kong main, Gonzalo “ZeRo” Barrios were head to head during the event. After a bracket reset and consistent reading from these two, it was quite the battle!
Salem took the crown on the EVO 2017 – Super Smash Bros Wii U Championship, proving that hard work and consistency pays off!
