SYDNEY – July 19, 2017 – Morphite, the atmospheric exploration sci-fi shooter with platforming elements from Crescent Moon Games, We’re Five Games, and Blowfish Studios, will come to Nintendo Switchâ„¢, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, in addition to the previously-announced PC and iOS versions. Morphite will simultaneously launch across all platforms Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017. It is now available for pre-order for PlayStation 4 in Europe.

Set in a distant future where humanity has colonized the far reaches of space,
Morphite follows the story of Myrah Kale, a young woman whose life takes a sudden turn when a routine mission develops into an interstellar adventure revealing her mysterious past and connection to the coveted substance Morphite.

Myrah will voyage to the furthest corners of space to explore uncharted planets with diverse landscapes teeming with exotic flora and fauna. With the help of a scanner, Myrah can sell the biological information of organic lifeforms she comes across to purchase upgrades for her ship, suit and weapons.

Inside Myrah’s vessel, players will face random encounters in real-time combat, trade with other space travelers and utilize an easy-to-use Starmap to navigate a galaxy full of hand-crafted worlds where the fully-voiced main story takes place as well as procedurally-generated planets brimming with side quests.

“Morphite is an atmospheric sci-fi shooter with inspiration drawn from classic console games including Ratchet and Clank, Metroid Prime and Turok,” said Ben Lee, CEO, Blowfish Studios. “With those roots, bringing Morphite to Nintendo Switchâ„¢, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is a natural fit, and we look forward to sharing our universe with everyone this September.”
