Nintendo has released its financial reports for Q1 which covers April through June 30th, providing information of the sales made during this year in hardware, software and its mobile games.
Mario Kart 8: Deluxe for Nintendo Switch was released earlier this year in April and has sold 2.54 million units worldwide during the time of this report.
ARMS has sold with 1.18 million units globally from the time of its release in June.
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has continued to perform well since its launch and has sold 1.16 million units worldwide (3.92 million units on a cumulative basis).
Sales for Nintendo Switch and its software during this period has come to 1.97 millions and 8.14 million units respectively.
Nintendo 3DS and its games such as Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentía have performed well during this time and has brought hardware sales to 0.95 million units, a 1% increase on a year-on-year basis and software sales were 5.85 million units a 31% decrease in a year-on-year basis.
During this time, amiibo figures were approximately 1.60 million units and 1.30 million for card-type.
Digital sales and DLC on Switch have grown steadily during this time with a total of 11.0 billion yen, a 41% increase on a year-on-year basis.
On smart devices including their popular mobile games, such as Super Mario Run and Fire Emblem Heroes, they’ve been performing well and have seen an increase in sales by 450% on a year-by-year basis.
