The Japanese Super Mario Odyssey Twitter account shared a new underwater Mario themed design today as a calendar and wallpaper for your smartphone devices.
The summer-themed graphic features Mario with a striped blue shirt, swimming underwater with a swimming mask and a swimming tube. Three cheep cheeps join him in the scene, but perhaps the most interesting part is the Power Moon on the ocean floor. Power Moons are the collectible items for Odyssey, equivalent to Power Stars in previous games.
Other than being a calendar graphic for August, it is possible that this underwater scene may show up in Super Mario Odyssey as a new stage, or perhaps even a new kingdom!
