After yesterday’s update for Breath of the Wild, the game’s dedicated news channel “Tips from the Wild” is finally live on the Switch.
“Tips from the Wild” is accessible through News on the Home menu. Switch owners can subscribe to the channel and read posts from there in order to get in-game items. Previously reserved for promotional content, “Tips from the Wild” is the first channel to offer items just for reading. However, Nintendo’s support website warns that some items may be unavailable depending on the player’s progress.
Aside from the news channel, yesterday’s game update also included some general gameplay fixes. Version 1.3.1 is the sixth update for the game.
