Tequila Works have released further information as to why RiME was delayed for the Switch and their current progress so far.

Cody Bradley, the producer of RiME explained that the game has been in development since August 2016 for Nintendo Switch, and due the game being ported over onto a new platform they’ve been taking some time to optimize RiME to meet their quality standards. The development team of RiME are currently optimizing shaders and fixing bugs before QA submission.

As mentioned, RiME will be getting an achievement system so that important moments of the game are not forgotten.

RiME is scheduled to release on November 14th in North America and November 17th for Europe on  Nintendo Switch.
