SplatNet is coming to an end for Wii U

Nintendo has announced that SplatNet is coming to an end for Wii U owners, and will be terminated on September 30. SplatNet will be gone for the original Splatoon, however, multiplayer online battles will still be available, as it only affects the SplatNet service.
