Nintendo has kept its promise of adding in new characters post-launch, with the beefy Max Brass and sweet Lola Pop having been added so far. Now, it seems like they’re gearing up to add the next fighter to the roster, as the official ARMS Twitter account has posted a static clip that shows off an unidentifiable new character battling it out.

Notably, they appear to be fighting in the newly revealed treetop jungle stage being added in the next patch. Could this new character possibly be who the “Plant” codename that was datamined from the game earlier this year is referring to? We’ll have to wait and see, though chances are, we won’t have to wait long. After all, Lola Pop received a similar teaser and was revealed shortly after.
