As a long time fan of the puzzle game Scribblenauts, hearing about a new one was quite refreshing. The last installment into the series was way back in 2013, and the series has become dormant since. Warner Brothers have been quiet on it for some time, and they look to have a new installment coming our way.
This leak on a Taiwanese game rating website seemingly shows the game and some promo art. The art is interesting because it seems like this could be a co-op puzzle adventure, with having the brother and sister right on it. Also makes the name “Showdown” make sense in this case. For those that do not know much about the series, the levels are puzzles where you must use your journal to wish up items that you may use.
According to the information listed on the site, first reported by Nintendo Everything, Scribblenauts Showdown is coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. It’s still unconfirmed but quite an interesting find and for now, we’ll have to wait for an official confirmation.
