Nintendo has released a new update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch with v.1.4.0. The new update adds language support for Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean.
In addition to new language support, an issue which prevented background music from playing after reaching the finish line has been resolved. For those who download the latest update, you will no longer be able to engage in local play or LAN play with those still using Version 1.2.1 or earlier.
