Yooka-Laylee on Nintendo Switch is finally home! Touted as a love letter to older Rare collect-a-thon games (think Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie), Yooka-Laylee sends players out to explore various worlds with Yooka and Laylee. The Switch version features a number of improvements compared to its previous releases, thanks to Playtonic’s dedication. Multiplayer using multiple Joy-Cons is also available, especially in mini-games within Rextro’s Arcade.
Yooka-Laylee releases on Dec 14 and will cost $39.99. Kickstarter backers who opted for the Switch copy started getting their backer codes on Dec 11.
