Psyonix has re-confirmed the addition of cross-platform party support, arriving later this year for Rocket League. Responding to a fan on Twitter, the official account teases that they are actively working on this new system for release later this year as previously announced on their year in review post.

This means that fans on other platforms will be able to race and battle it out on the field without having to be invited privately. We’ve reached out to Psyonix and as of right now the feature is still in development and the platforms that will be cross-play enabled will be announced at a later date.
