Nintendo has officially announced that their online subscription service for Nintendo Switch will launch later this year in September. For those who aren’t familiar with the upcoming subscription service, Nintendo Switch Online will allow players to play online with friends on their Nintendo Switch systems, the option to download a compilation of classic titles with added online play, including exclusive eShop deals for subscribers.
Nintendo Switch Online will be priced at $3.99 for a monthly subscription, $7.99 for a 3-month subscription and $19.99 for a yearly subscription to the service. As of now, players can continue to enjoy playing online for free but just for a limited time as when the service officially rolls-out, playing online will be required to pay.
