Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp was updated yesterday on iOS and Android devices which brought a slew of new features and content for the game. With every update released, bugs usually surface and this is no exception to that. Yesterday, we had a few players report to us that their game would crash when updating to the latest version of Pocket Camp when launching the app.

As we reported on our sister community, ACPocketNews, the developers of the game have acknowledged the bug and have provided a temporary solution to this. If you’ve been affected by this bug, feel free to follow this guide:

※ iPhone players who are experiencing the above problem may be able to resolve it using the following process.
1. Within iOS, tap Settings > General > Language & Region > Other Languages.
※ If you have already added another language, tap “Add Language.”
2. Tap one of the displayed languages to add a checkmark and select “Done.”
3. When prompted “Would you like to change the iPhone language to (selected language)” select “Keep English.”
4. “Setting Language…” will briefly display.
5. After the language has finished updating, please restart the game.

We’ve received feedback from members of the community who’ve experienced this bug and some had success after following this guide. We hope this corrects any issues you’ve experienced with the game so far and feel free to let us know if this helps! For all things, Nintendo and Animal Crossing, Stay tuned to NinMobileNews.
