Eagerly waiting for an official release date for Runner3? Choice Provisions has finally submitted the game for QA (Quality-Assurance) and is pending Nintendo’s approval.
As mentioned in their blog post, once the game has been tested and approved, an official release date will be announced soon. Runner3 will be available in a digital and physical format and will also release simultaneously on Nintendo Switch and Steam.

Hey, everyone!
First of all, we apologize for how long it’s been since our last blog post. We promise you all it’s not for lack of trying–we’ve just been hard at work on submitting Runner3 to Nintendo. Which I suppose is a good time for me to tell you something…
Runner3 has been submitted to Nintendo!
If they test the game and confirm it’s suitable for release, we’ll be able to get the ball rolling on sending the physical version of the game to the manufacturer for printing. In other words, we are very close to finally getting Runner3 into your hands. I know we’ve said this before, but we are truly in the home stretch here!
We know how eager many of you are to hear a release date from us. Trust us, we’re just as eager to share one with you. But as exciting as it is for the game to be in Nintendo’s hands finally, it also means the ball is currently in their court. Once their testing has concluded, however, we’ll be able to get things rolling on the physical version and figure out when the release date will be. I know we’ve asked you to be patient a few times now, but… please be patient! We promise it’ll be worth the wait.
We’d also like to thank you all for your positive comments these past few months, whether you wrote them here, Tweeted them at us, or posted them on our Facebook page. We’ve read them all, and they’ve gone a long way towards keeping the team inspired. So thank you for that!

P.S. – We’ve noticed some confusion around this, so I just want to confirm that Runner3 will be available on Steam day and date with the Switch release. We promise.
