The DICE awards were held last night, which celebrated the best games of 2018 which Nintendo dominated by taking numerous awards with games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey and among many others.

Not only were Nintendo’s games celebrated during the event but Nintendo’s very own Genyo Takeda was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the ceremony. Takeda has worked with Nintendo for more than 45 years and is very deserving of this award for all he has done for the gaming industry.

He gave a speech last night to go along with his award, courtesy of Nintendo Everything. Watch the full video, below.
