Switch fighter BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle will see a new character reveal on March 16th. This heads-up comes courtesy of the game’s Japanese home page, which features a note prompting fans to check the arcnama Twitter account on the date.
BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle news lately, as the game gears up for its release on May 31st in Japan, and June 5th in North America. We recently got a look at the BlazBlue series’ Platinum: The Trinity as well as a few others from Under Night: In-Birth and the Persona series.
It’s possible we’ll see more than one character revealed on the day, adding a pretty significant number to the lineup. BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle already boasts 26 characters from all three series, including guests from the popular American anime series RWBY.
Given the recent pace of news from Arc System Works, we’ll likely see quite a bit more of Cross Tag Battle in the coming months. Some players will also have the opportunity to try the game before it’s launch at the end of March. If you’re headed to the Anime Ascension tournament in California, be on the lookout for a booth featuring a playable Cross Tag Battle build.
