Damon Baker has announced his position as the new Head of Portfolio for Xbox.
Last December, Damon Baker announced that he was leaving Nintendo after working there for more than 12 years. Baker worked with Nintendo as an “advocate” for independent games.
According to Nintendo Life, Baker “started out at the company in 2006 as the global manager of brand licensing and became head of third-party marketing and communications after three years, until taking up the head of partner management role in 2016.”
Baker took to Twitter to announce that he has been preparing for his role as the new Head of Portfolio for Xbox for the past month. Baker stated, “honored and excited to help evaluate all 2nd/3rd party content towards our strategy.”
We wish all the best for Damon Baker in his new role at Xbox, and we thank him for all of his work bringing independent and third-party games to Nintendo platforms throughout the years.
