A few days ago, we learned that Square Enix filed trademark applications for Final Fantasy Adventure, Mystic Quest, and Secret of Mana in Europe. Today, we’re learning that Square Enix also registered trademarks for Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy Adventure in the US.

As initially reported by Siliconera, the US trademark filings were submitted on February 5, the same day as the European applications. The name “Mystic Quest” is not included because, in the US, that phrase refers to the unrelated SNES game. Final Fantasy Adventure, which was released for the Game Boy in Europe as Mystic Quest, was eventually remastered as Secret of Mana.
