A Target representative has confirmed to Polygon than that they will indeed open pre-orders at a “later” date on Target.com
“We will have the Super NES Classic, and it will be available for pre-orders on Target.com at a later date,” a representative told Polygon.
The official Target support Twitter account confirms that the US will be getting pre-orders for the SNES Classic Edition, and should be soon as we saw with Walmart opening pre-orders last night.
The team at Target haven’t specified if it’ll be an in-store pre-order but we can assume it’ll be online. We’ll make sure to keep you updated as we get more information. Don’t miss out on pre-orders, make sure to follow us on Twitter for push notifications.
