With the launch of our new website and expansion on social media, we’re recruiting gaming journalists to join our team! We’re truly invested in the Nintendo community and we want to expand our content with individuals who share the same passion as we do. Make sure to read and follow all the requirements listed below, in order to have a smooth application process.
Within your application, do include some general information about yourself, such as your name? Country of residence? Hobbies? Experience with Nintendo and journalism, or any additional information you’d like to share. It’s crucial to include this information because we want to learn more about you, and what you could provide to our community.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- Experience with Nintendo and their products
- Must be available regularly throughout the week
- Experience with journalistic style writing
- Be proficient with social media and online communicators
If you speak any additional languages, specifically Japanese, feel free to include that within your application.
Sample Articles:
NinMobileNews seeks to be proactive when it comes to news coverage, not reactive. This means we want to be the first to the scoop with insight on what each and every announcement can mean for the future of Nintendo fans. With all of this in mind, show off your writing style with two sample articles!
One of the articles will consist of a review of an accessory or game on a Nintendo system. Be honest and objective with your analysis while remaining clear and concise.
The other article will be completely up to you, just make sure that it really shows off your voice and creativity. Display your best work! All articles should be written with personality, perspective, and respect.
Both articles to be included in one document and must be uploaded to our contact page.
How to submit your application:
All applications are to be submitted on our Contact page on our website, with the subject Contributor Application.
All contributor applications must include all the information we’ve requested including two sample writing articles. We’ll be contacting selected applicants with a follow-up e-mail within 7-days of their applications being received.
