Walmart’s listing for popular cereal brand Honey Bunches of Oats inadvertently revealed an upcoming Nintendo Switch and Super Mario Odyssey giveaway.
According to the images on Walmart’s website, Post Foods will give away 500 Nintendo Switch systems and a copy of Super Mario Odyssey from Sept. 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018. Participants can join the event by entering a code found inside the box. Those who do not wish to purchase a box of cereal can still join by checking the event website for details. Box codes also net entrants some platinum My Nintendo points but the exact amount is currently unknown.
As expected, the website required to enter these codes is not live yet. Attempting to go to the site early leads to a blank white page. The giveaway’s fine print also specified that Nintendo is not a sponsor for this event.
