Legendary Pokémon Raikou, Entei, and Suicune will begin appearing in Pokémon GO starting on August 31 and will migrate to other regions until October 31.
Each Legendary Pokémon has been assigned a region and are listed below:
- Raikou, an Electric-type Legendary Pokémon, can be battled throughout the Americas.
- Entei, a Fire-type Legendary Pokémon, can be battled throughout Europe and Africa.
- Suicune, a Water-type Legendary Pokémon, can be battled throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Exclusive Raid Battles will also begin its initial testing phase during this time in select areas, which are invite-only Raid Battles and will be available for a limited time only in gyms. To be invited to an Exclusive Raid Battle, Trainers will receive an invitiation if they’ve defeated a Raid Battle at a certain gym. Exclusive Raid Battles will begin starting on September 6.
