Lego has announced today via Twitter that no further figure packs for it’s toys-to-life crossover title Lego Dimensions will be produced, ending one year short of it’s initial three-year plan. The news, while sad, does not come as a surprise, as rumors have been swirling as of late as to the end of project.
This means that the last sets that will be released for Dimensions are the Teen Titans Go! set and the Powerpuff Girls set, both released last month on September 12. While no further packs are being released, all existing packs and the game’s online modes will continue to be supported for the foreseeable future. Production of existing packs are also likely to end soon, so if there’s any pack you’ve been on the fence about, now would be the time to pick it up.
