With the new updates and Pokémon coming to Pokémon GO, data miners in TheSilphRoad subreddit have discovered new changes coming to the game.
Yesterday, we reported on the new dynamic weather and the impact weather will have in Pokémon GO. For example, your odds of discovering Mudkip splashing around will greatly improve on rainy days, as certain Pokémon types will be more commonly found during various weather conditions. Additionally, attacks of certain types will be more effective during some weather conditions, so a Charizard’s Fire Spin will perform better on sunny days, for example.
Rain or shine, winter or spring, your gameplay experience will remain fresh, making your time outdoors even more exciting. Dynamic Weather will be available very soon and this is just one of the few changes that have been made
In the newest APK, data miners have also found ten new moves for Pokémon, including more fast water-related attacks. These attacks include Takedown (fast), Waterfall (fast), Surf, Draco Meteor, Doom Desire, Yawn (fast), Psycho (fast), Origin Pulse, Precipice Blades, and Present (fast).
Battle Parties have also been discovered within the game, something that was found months ago. This feature is now live in the game and will hopefully add a nice change of pace to it.
A new type of item has also appeared in the APK’s data mine and it’s called: a star piece. It appears these star pieces can increase the amount of dust you can get in the game, making it easier to obtain the dust. The APK also shows two extra bundles of star pieces: 8 and 25 which appears to be planned as in-app purchase bundles.
And lastly, a new Battle Log will now appear during combat which helps show the type efficacy of moves in the melee! Let us know what you think of these new findings and changes coming to Pokémon GO? Be on the lookout later this week for more new Pokémon in Pokémon GO.
