Well guys, I’m sorry.
The Switch 5.0 Leak is OFFICIALLY fake! I’m proud to announce that I was behind the mock-up that so many of us wish that @NintendoAmerica learns from.
Thank you to everyone for your kind words, and lets all pray for a direct soon! pic.twitter.com/T17qu3FIpx— NintenFanart (@NintenFanart) January 11, 2018
Last week we reported on a video that surfaced which featured a few new additions to the Switch including Cloud Storage, Folders, and Party Chat. As we mentioned, this supposed ‘leak’ could’ve been fake and has now been officially confirmed as one.
NintenFanart announced via Twitter that the Nintendo Switch 5.0.0 leak video was fake as they were involved in development in the mock-up that was shown in the video.
As the hype continues for Nintendo’s long-awaited Nintendo Direct, we can only hope to see new announcements for the Switch and 3DS including firmware updates. Let us know what you thought of the confirmed fake leak, did you believe it?
