With the Nintendo Direct Mini, we learned about upcoming games for this year including a free update coming to Super Mario Odyssey. As revealed during the Nintendo Direct Mini, Super Mario Odyssey will be getting a new minigame with Luigi’s Balloon World including more outfits in the future.
From what it seems as translated by Nintendo Everything, Nintendo plans on bringing new outfits beyond this incoming update for Odyssey.
When completing the main story in Super Mario Odyssey, Luigi’s Balloon World will be unlocked in which Luigi will appear in different Kingdoms and you can either Hide or Find Balloons in-game. The ‘Hide It’ mode ratings are based on the number of coins obtained and times played with the Balloons.
The ‘Find It’ ratings are based on the number of coins obtained, the total amount of Ballons found and the streak of finding ballons in a short period of time.
As shown in the Direct, certain Kingdoms will also be getting new weather updates or different time changes. We’ll make sure to update you all on more news for this incoming update as more information is available, stay tuned!
