The end of an era is truly upon us, as Nintendo has announced the end of StreetPass Relay Stations in Japan. The service will close at the end of March, on the 28th. StreetPass as a whole will remain active (who knows how much longer) but the Stations will not be.

Indie Mania is running wild, as Guilt Battle Arena has just barely missed its planned release month of February. The game is now scheduled to release tomorrow, March 1st on Nintendo Switch.

Gematsu has confirmed that Tomy is working on the first new installment into the Zoid’s series in 12 years. This is not a one-off experiment either, as it seems that they are going all in on reviving the series. A Switch game, toyline, anime, and smartphone app were announced.

Natsume has released some more details on Wild Guns Reloaded and when we should expect the game to release. It is currently scheduled for an April 2018 release, both physically and digitally.

Similar to Kinder Eggs (which are still currently banned in the States, sigh), Nintendo has announced Splatoon 2 themed chocolate eggs to arrive very soon in Japan. Each chocolate egg will feature one of 16 figurines from the Splatoon universe.

Team17 and Villa Gorilla have just released another trailer for Yoku’s Island Express, and they have once again assured that the game will release in Q2 of 2018.

Psyonix and WWE have had a well-established partnership for a few months now, with Rocket League sponsoring many of the events for the past few months. Along with this on-screen partnership, Psyonix have announced that WWE themed customization options will zoom into the game later this year.

General Mills and The Pokémon Company have teamed up together to bring exclusive Pokémon TCG cards in select fruit snack packages starting this month.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope will be receiving a special edition for Nintendo Switch. The limited edition includes the game, the chocolate cow plush, animal pin set, hardcover farmer’s journal, the original soundtrack, and a collector’s box.

Airship Syndicate has provided an update on the status of Battle Chasers: Nightwar for Nintendo Switch. The game has been submitted for review and is awaiting Nintendo’s approval.

Merchoid, known for creating and selling tons of video-game memorabilia, has just announced a new line of 3D Mini Lights. These lights are based off Nintendo franchises such as The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario.

Nintendo’s very own Genyo Takeda was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 21st Annual DICE Awards, last night.
