Nintendo says they have “nothing to announce” on the rumors of a smaller Switch and new online service, in response to ArsTechnica.

After reports by Japanese publication Nikkei that Nintendo was planning on releasing a smaller Nintendo Switch and a new online service in 2019, Nintendo states it has nothing to announce at this time. The rumors state that Nintendo is working on a smaller Switch in order to enhance portability and reduce costs. A new online service aimed at gamers who want to spend more money was also reported by Nikkei.

Nintendo made a statement to ArsTechnica saying “we have nothing to announce on this topic.”
