Attendees who booked a trip to Chicago for the Pokémon GO Fest this weekend, are now being refunded and are getting $100 of Pokécoins to compensate due to the problems the game has experienced during the event.

Players have been experience on-going interference issues when connecting due to the thousands of players surrounding each other in one location.

Unfortunately the event didn’t go as Niantic planned but we can only hope for the best in the future.
