Nintendo of America has announced new content coming to Fire Emblem: Warriors for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS Family of Systems.
Starting on October 20, players will be given the opportunity to purchase a Season Pass for Fire Emblem Warriors at $19.99 which will include three DLC packs of new content, inspired by games such as Fire Emblem: Fates, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and Fire Emblem: Awakening.
These three upcoming DLC packs will be released periodically throughout the ending of 2017-2018 and more details regarding the exact content of each pack will be revealed in the future.
- DLC Pack #1 (Dec 2017, $8.99): The content in this pack is inspired by Fire Emblem Fates.
- DLC Pack #2 (Feb 2018, $8.99): Many of the characters and items in this DLC pack hail from Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon.
- DLC Pack #3 (March 2018, $8.99): Fans of Fire Emblem Awakening will love this DLC, as much of the content is themed after the classic game.
In addition to receiving additional DLC in the future, Nintendo has revealed that Fire Emblem: Warriors can support up to 5 different compatible amiibo figures a day, including the upcoming Tiki and Chrom amiibo.
When tapping compatible amiibo such as Marth, Ike, Robin and Lucina, players will receive weapons or materials when scanned.
Fire Emblem: Warriors is scheduled to release on October 20 for Nintendo Switch, as well as New Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS XL and New Nintendo 2DS XL systems.
