Update 9/29 at 8:14 pm ET: Walmart has begun to ship some pre-orders for the Super NES Classic Edition, and shipment confirmation e-mails are now going out.

Walmart has sent out an e-mail to customers who pre-ordered the Super NES Classic Edition that orders are currently back ordered and could possibly get delayed or canceled if the system doesn’t ship by October 11.
This isn’t the first time Walmart has had an issue with pre-orders especially for the popular retro console as previous pre-orders were canceled last July due to the company experiencing a ‘technical glitch’.
