Super Mario Odyssey is now available for pre-load on the Japanese eShop for Nintendo Switch. With the recent v.4.0 update, Nintendo has allowed pre-loading on certain games, which allows you to download a portion of the game in advance before the game is officially made available.
This being a new feature, seems to be rolling out very slowly as it’s only been allowed in Japan. North America and Europe are yet to follow-suit.
