Since the Nindies Showcase Presentation last year, Celeste has been one of the most anticipated indies for Nintendo Switch. Now with the game’s release, Matt Thorson, creator of Celeste has announced that it sold the most on Switch.
“The Switch version of Celeste has sold the most, and that’s what we were expecting. We feel like Celeste and the Switch are a perfect fit for each other. We are glad we launched on all consoles though, and we really appreciate the support we’ve seen across the board.”
Numbers weren’t disclosed, however, it’s no surprise that it has sold well especially when paired with Nintendo’s hybrid console. We definitely recommend all Switch owners to give the game a try and if you haven’t already, check out our review!
