Hidden away exclusively in the Japanese version of the Direct, Nintendo announced that Phantasy Star Online 2 would be coming to Switch. A merger of the hack-and-slash and RPG genres, Phantasy Star Online 2 sees you battling against a variety of monsters. These beasts range from fire-breathing dragons to sphinx-like robots, and you’ll need to use a combination of your swordplay and magic to take them down. Also included are Nintendo costumes, the first of which being Link’s Champion’s Tunic from Breath of the Wild, available for both the male and female characters.

It’s unsure right now whether or not PSO2 will launch in the West, but for those of you who might want to change regions and pick it up regardless, the game launches April 14th in Japan. For all things Nintendo, NinMobileNews has you covered.
