Kirby Star Allies surprised everyone in a Nintendo Direct by adding three additional playable characters in Marx, Gooey, and the Animal Buddies as post-launch DLC. Even bigger of a surprise was that those three characters were simply Wave 1 of the game’s DLC. Now, with the latest update, dataminers have uncovered at least two more waves of Dream Friends that are coming to the game.

Wave 2 will include Kirby 64’s adorable artist, Adeleine, Daroach, the leader of the mousey thieves known as the Squeaks, and the mysterious shadow warrior from the Mirror Realm, Dark Meta Knight. Wave 3 will include the magic-wielding spaceship thief Magolor, Queen Sectonia’s spiderlike servant Taranza, Haltmann’s mech-piloting receptionist Susie, and another trio character in Star Allies own Jambastion Mages: Francisca, Flamberge, and Zan Partizanne.

It doesn’t stop there either. The above characters all have Guest Star files confirming them as playable characters for certain, but there’s evidence that there’s even more characters coming beyond them. Big bad cultist Lord Hyness’s model is stored with the playable characters in the game’s files, and has multiplayer recolors and coding for the game’s piggyback mechanic already programmed in. Fan favorite superboss Galacta Knight also has coding for the game’s piggyback mechanic in place, as does the mysterious newcomer Morpho Knight.

Overall, it looks as though Kirby Star Allies has quite the expansive roadmap of content planned for it. For all future news on Kirby Star Allies, as well as everything Nintendo, stick to NinMobileNews.
