An image has surfaced online earlier today on the /r/amiibo subreddit, originally uploaded on their official Discord, revealing potential amiibo coming soon to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
According to the image and the folks on /r/amiibo and Nintendo Wire, Pokémon Trainer, Ivysaur, and Squirtle may be getting their own amiibo in the near future. The image also gives us a first-look at the upcoming Snake amiibo which could add some creditable to this leak, considering the render looks “official” and is listed with Dark Samus, Chrom, Simon, and Richter.
No official announcement has been made regarding this potential leak, however, we’ll be sure to follow-up once more information is available.
