Joy-Con Update Included in Switch V.7.0.0 Update

The latest firmware update for Switch, version 7.0.0, includes an update for Joy-Con controllers, according to Nintendo Everything.

Once updated to the latest firmware version, a new update for your Joy-Con will be available in the “Controllers and Sensors” section in the Nintendo Switch system settings app.

There’s no information on what this update does to Joy-Con, but more stability never hurts.
