The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild received this year’s Game of the Year award during tonight’s Game Awards presentation. This marks Nintendo’s first Game of the Year win since The Game Awards first aired in 2014.

The latest installment in the Legend of Zelda franchise stood among the biggest titles of 2017 to win. Among the nominees for Game of the Year were Horizon: Zero DawnPersona 5, and even Nintendo’s own Super Mario Odyssey. Series Producer Eiji Aonuma took the stage to accept the award, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime and others from Nintendo looked on from the crowd.

Breath of the Wild received nominations in seven categories during this years game awards, winning in four. Nintendo’s hit took home awards for Best Game Direction, Best Action/Adventure, and Most Anticipated Game of 2017.
