As we’ve seen more recently, games are starting to be adapted for film and TV and according to The Wrap, a Legend of Zelda TV series may be in the works, very soon.

The Wrap reports that they’ve exclusively learned that Adi Shankar, producer of the animated Castlevania Netflix series is in talks with Nintendo on creating a TV series based on their popular franchise, The Legend Of Zelda.

As this is very early, Nintendo hasn’t officially confirmed this rumor, however, Shankar shared a post earlier today on Instagram hinting that he may be “working with an iconic Japanese gaming company to adapt one of their iconic video game series into a series.”

Shankar also mentions that “The success of Castlevania created this opportunity.” The Wrap has contacted Nintendo for a response on this alleged collaboration and a Nintendo spokesperson said, “We have nothing to announce on this topic.”

Could be exciting news if true and we look forward to it if materializes. We’ll be sure to follow-up once more information is known. For all things, Nintendo, stay tuned to NinMobileNews!
