As we’re nearing closer to the launch of the live-action Sonic the Hedgehog Movie, new artwork has surfaced online, believed to be Sonic’s film appearance, courtesy of Hamagami / Carroll, Inc.

Hamagami / Carroll, Inc., the advertising agency who’s uploaded these new promotional materials on their branding deck, has detailed in a post that Sonic’s new look is “a new modern take on the brand without abandoning its core essence”. If you’ve been keeping up with the film, you may already know that we haven’t seen Sonic’s full look as of yet, however, this may be our first tease considering that the render looks somewhat similar to the original movie poster.

According to Hamagami / Carroll, Inc., they intended to create packaging “for all of the licensed retail products within the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise” which could lead to new toys, posters and more in the future. With these promotional images, we also learn that Sonic will be “irreverent and sarcastic”, “chill & likable” and “mischievous but not malicious”.

We’d like to point out that Hamagami / Carroll, Inc. has already taken down their Sonic listing, possibly due to it being released early than originally intended, however, we’d love to get your feedback on Sonic’s new look in the comments below?

The Sonic the Hedgehog Movie will be in Theatres on Nov. 8, 2019.
