One of my biggest issues with using the Switch in handheld mode is the fact that the low position of the control stick layout on the right Joy-Con leads to cramps in my right hand. This layout isn’t much of an issue when using a Pro Controller or even the Joy-Con Grip, but that’s because those gamepads provide plenty of space and grips for your fingers to naturally hold on to the controller. The thin and small nature of the Joy-Con, especially in handheld mode, gives you little to no space for your hands to comfortably hold on to the device. For games that require heavy use of the right stick, you are essentially forced to have your right thumb in an unnaturally strained position for extended periods of time leading to cramps and aches.
This is where the Pro Gaming Grip steps in, and it most definitely makes a difference in comfortability. The “Asymmetric Design” boasted by Satisfye truly improves the ergonomics of using the Switch in handheld mode. Long periods of gaming sessions ended with less aches in my right hand and it has become my preferred way to play on the go. In addition to the grips that allow your fingers to naturally wrap around the device, the right side of the Pro Gaming Grip adds a space for your right hand to rest comfortably over the right Joy-Con. This design essentially eliminates the awkward grip-ability of the right side of the Switch and does so in a refined manner.
With Great Comfortability Comes Less Portability
The Pro Gaming Grip adds bulk in the form of two grips to each side of the console connected by a stem that holds it in place from the back. This does make the Switch feel a little heavier, but it also provides added protection to the backside of the device if it ever falls on it. The bottom side of the grip features two “feet” that help secure the console and give you the ability to use your Switch in tabletop mode without having to remove it from the accessory. It’s not the most stable tabletop configuration and I’m not sure it was designed with this in mind, so I would suggest being careful when using it in this configuration. 
Carrying around the Switch in its Pro Gaming Grip is less than ideal, but thankfully the Pro Gaming Elite Bundle brings with it a huge case for carrying what you need. The outside of the case is made of a grey softshell material with the interior being made up of a black fabric material. In other words, your Switch and everything else you’d carry in it should be safe and sound in this thick case. The case features a space for holding a power bank, 20 Switch game carts, a small pouch, and a larger pouch for anything else you might want to carry. The red accents lining the zipper and the subtle Satisfye logo decorating the top help make this fully featured case feel sleek in its design as well . It’s definitely one of the nicer cases I’ve used in a while.
Goodies for the Road
There are a few more goodies that round out the Pro Gaming Elite Bundle to make it more complete. Satisfye has included an L-shaped 2.4A USB-C cable for charging your Switch through a power bank in the case or in tabletop mode. The cable itself is short at less than two feet, but it makes up for it in premium materials. Satisfye opted for a nylon-like braided design/material over the standard PVC found on most charging cables. Satsifye also includes 4 thumb pads that fit over the control sticks on your Joy-Con in order to improve their grip-ability. The thumb pads have a concave shape and small raised designs that allow your thumbs to fill in nicely and remain firmly on the control sticks so they don’t slide off during gameplay.
Final Thoughts
The crown jewel of the Pro Gaming Elite Bundle is without a doubt the Pro Gaming Grip. Its “asymmetric design” accomplishes its goal of providing an ergonomic and comfortable gaming experience in handheld mode. The Premium Carrying Case and additional accessories are functional additions to an already great bundle.
