Yacht Club Games hosted its second-ever Yacht Club Games Presents today where the publisher announced a new Shovel Knight title, updates to previously announced games, and more.

Cyber Shadow Arriving This Fall

Cyber Shadow, a 2D ninja action game developed by Mechanical Head Studios, will be arriving this fall on Nintendo Switch. The Switch version of the game will launch with Shovel Knight series amiibo support. You’ll be able to scan in your favorite Shovel Knight amiibo from Plague Knight to King Knight for special interactions in-game.

Check out the game’s latest Story Trailer here, showcasing some of the game’s creatively rendered 8-bit cutscenes, exciting level designs, and action-packed gameplay.

Shovel Knight Stickers Available Now

To celebrate Shovel Knight’s history and success, Yacht Club Games has announced Shovel Knight Stickers for iMessage and LINE. Watch the stickers in action in this short trailer.

New Updates for Shovel Knight Treasure Trove

Among the bug fixes and game changes, Shovel Knight Treasure Trove’s 4.1 Patch includes a 1:1 Pixel Scaling mode and new ways to play a couple of modes.

Shovel Knight Showdown is receiving notable balance changes to some of its characters. Propeller Knight, Enchantress, and Liquid Samurai are no longer able to fly in the air for so long. Mole Knight and Liquid Samurai now have the ability to destroy dirt blocks, meaning all the characters in the game can now dig.

The update includes new ways to play Showdown’s Target Mode and King of Cards’ Joustus. Character Gauntlet will randomly change your character every time you hit a bonus target in Target Mode. Joustus now has a secret multiplayer mode where you can build decks, change board layouts, and more when playing against another friend.

If you’d like to read all the changes included in the 4.1 Patch, the update notes are available here.

Shovel Knight Dig Gets Hive Knight

Hive Knight is the newest character introduced for Shovel Knight Dig.

Shovel Knight Dig was first announced in August 2019 as a joint development project between Nitrome and Yacht Club Games. This Shovel Knight spin-off title has been in the works for more than a year now, but Yacht Club Games states that development on the title is going well “with new enemies, objects, and areas being developed and polished every day!”

Shovel Knight Dig is expected to arrive sometime in 2021.

Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon Announced

Yacht Club Games announced Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon, a puzzle-based spin-off in the Shovel Knight series.

Pocket Dungeon mixes falling block puzzles with dungeon-crawling. Players can control Shovel Knight’s movements to defeat enemies and gather items while the board constantly changes. The game will feature plenty of playable characters from the Shovel Knight series, and includes a story and 2-player versus mode.

Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon does not have a release date yet, but the first few stages will be playable on Nintendo Switch at PAX East this weekend.

Two New Games in Development

Yacht Club Games teased that they are working on two new games. While we don’t know what these games are, Yacht Club Games mentions how exciting it would be for them to work on a brand new IP.

So what did you think of all the announcements? Are you checking out Pocket Dungeon at PAX East this weekend? What do you think Yacht Club Games is working on? Let us know on Twitter and in the comments.
