Dark Horse Publications, creators of many famed (and extremely detailed) encyclopedias such as The Legend Of Zelda and among others, will be creating one for the Mushroom Kingdom later this October. The Super Mario Encyclopedia will detail Mario’s 30th anniversary, going from 1985 to 2015. Super Mario Odyssey will not be featured throughout this encyclopedia due to timing issues.
It’s 256 pages of all things Mario; from glitches, to tricks, to guides, to collectibles, and to secrets. The guide will include everything surrounding the Mushroom Kingdom’s long history and a standard edition of the book will be released on October 23, for $39.99. A special/collectors edition has not been announced yet, but one is expected due to the companies history with them.
