Nintendo is providing fans with the opportunity to experience Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Pokemon, and more at PAX East in Boston from February 27th to March 1st.

Attendees will have the chance to play a hands-on demo of New Horizons before the game releases on March 20th. Those who play the demo will receive a special Tom Nook themed tote bag (while supplies last).

Starting February 25th at 5pm EST, registered PAX East attendees with a Nintendo Account can reserve a Warp Pipe Pass for PAX East Day 1 to use at the Nintendo Booth to get priority access to demo Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

A guided showcase at the event will highlight the game’s single-player mode and activities like crafting, gardening, and decorating. Nintendo’s booth will also feature a “full-scale immersive experience” inspired by New Horizon’s island environment. Attendees will get a chance to take photos in Animal Crossing inspired scenes with costumed characters like K. K. Slider, Tom Nook, and our queen Isabelle.

There will even be an on-site store at the event selling Animal Crossing: New Horizons merch and other Nintendo products. Attendees who use the My Nintendo check-in booth can also receive an Isabelle pin (while supplies last).

Pokemon Demos, and More!

Nintendo’s booth will also feature playable demos of Pokemon Sword and Shield with plenty of Pokemon-related goodies, the chance to play Luigi’s Mansion 3’s ScreamPark Mode on stage, and a demo of the multiplayer puzzle game The Stretchers.

Attendees who try the Sword and Shield demo will receive a special postcard booklet with images from the Galar region (while supplies last). Players who bring their own Switch’s with Sword and Shield can battle special Pokemon in Max Raid Battles and receive a special Pokemon Pin (while supplies last). Visitors can also take pictures with a Pikachu costumed character, learn more about Sword and Shield‘s new expansion pass, and experience a guided demo of the upcoming Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX.
