Super Chariot was announced for Nintendo Switch earlier this year, and now we have a release window. The physical and digital version of the game will launch this May. Each buyer will receive the Royal Gadget Pack DLC regardless of which version you choose. Both versions will launch simultaneously, so it’s a win-win.

The game is set to launch later this Spring with additional DLC, which is great to see and we’ll be sure to follow-up once we have more information on that.

A playable demo will also be available soon which will include the first 3 levels of the game on the Nintendo eShop for Switch.

Paris, March 8th, 2018 – Microïds and Frima are pleased to announce that Super Chariot will be available in both physical version (in Europe and Australia only) and on the Nintendo eShop in May 2018. Preorders are already open!

In this first video, Microïds reveals the Super Chariot Edition, which includes the game, the Royal Gadget Pack DLC and the original downloadable soundtrack. Fans of challenges and 2D platform games will be able to practise the first 3 levels of the game thanks to the Super Chariot demo, available soon on the Nintendo eShop.

Players take on the role of the princess or her fiancé as they set out to take the coffin of the deceased King in search of a resting place deemed worthy by His Late Majesty. They will have to use all their wits to manoeuvre their chariot through 25 colourful levels. Fully playable solo, this fantastic adventure provides, above all, hours of fun for two in co-op mode. Coordination and mutual help will be essential to move the chariot onward and overcome the obstacles that lie in the path of the two play.
