Move over Lugia, there are two new legendaries in town. With Lugia on the way out later today, Niantic has announced the release of Latios and Latias, Hoenn’s twin Dragon/Psychic Pokemon. These two legends are taking a page from Entei, Suicune, and Raikou’s books, and will be region-exclusive for a time.
Until May 8th, Latios will be available in North America, South America, and Africa, while Latias will be available in Europe and Asia. The two will then swap locales until June 5th, at which point they’ll jet off and be replaced by something new. Could the Regis be next? We’ll have to wait and see.
