Niantic has announced that a shiny version of Meltan will be available from starting today, February 5 at 1 PM PST through March 4 at 11:59 PM PST.
Shiny Meltan will only be available when opening a Mystery Box within that period. Thankfully, the waiting period between opening the Mystery Box again has been reduced to three days. Make sure not to open the Mystery Box before the event begins as the reduced wait time will not apply.
