As reported yesterday, SXSW was teasing some sort of announcement for Sonic at this year’s SXSW Gaming Expo. Today, SXSW has confirmed an official Sonic the Hedgehog Panel with special guests from SEGA and the Sonic Team!
According to the event description, the SEGA and Sonic Team will be discussing plans for the ‘blue blur’ in 2019 and beyond. SXSW is very much a tease as they’ve mentioned a ‘special announcement or two’ to be had during the event. SXSW will be hosted in Austin, TX on March 15th-17th. Wristbands for the event are available now on their official website.
